My top tip for today's racing is to lay Karashar in the 14:25 at Newton Abbot.
This is a competitive race and this horse has disappointed his connections so far. There is at least 2 horses likely to finish in front of this gelding today so it may be worth taking the risk of laying him in the place betting market as well.
Hi
Forgot to mention the above was a success!

Hi
My top tip for Sunday is to lay Sergheyev in the 16:30 Newton Abbott. This gelding has been disappointing and has changed stable from David Pipe's yard to Brendan Powell's which says a great deal. Add that to Powell's less than great recent form, being first time up, having his claimer on board and with one or two decent types in opposition this looks an ideal candidate to get beaten today.

Hi
My tip for Monday is to Lay My Mirasol in the 15:10 at Lingfield. This filly is not here to win today. All her victories have come on the all weather at Wolverhampton over a furlong less. Fill your boots on this one

My tip for Thursday is to back Seventh Cavalry (17:00 Warwick) for a place. Very obvious and won't make you a fortune but a cast iron bet

Hi
An unadventurous selection but it still made a profit

Hi
My bet for today is to lay Stoneacre Chris in the 14:50 at Lingfield. This filly has shown herself to be very one paced at this trip and is likely to find one or two of today's opponents to speedy for her. I feel she needs an extra furlong to show her at her best.

Hi
Today's tip is to lay Chelsea Girl in the 15:40 at Bath. This one paced filly is badly drawn on ground not likely to suit in a race with several dangers, especially Belle Bellino. At anything around the 3.0 mark this is a value lay today.

Hi
That makes up a bit for my appalling Soccer tips at the weekend.

Hi Crafty, many thanks
Today's tip is to lay Moorhouse Lad in the 14:35. This gelding has it all to do today. Racing on unsuitable ground, a low draw, out of form and with at least 2 others likely to finish ahead of him. At around 4.0 this is a definite money maker.

Hi
Saturday's lay is Akhenaten in the 14:30 at Chester. This Mick Channon trained colt looks like it has only one gear (one paced), has a bad draw and is racing on ground softer than previously encountered. He has raced on Gd/Sft ground and shown relatively little so softer ground should see no further improvement. Dropping down in trip will not help his chances either.
Another one to note is Look Busy in the 15:30 at Chester. This 3yo filly has to concede weight all round against older horses. Not an easy thing to do. She does have a good draw and is proven on soft going. However at around even money there are enough dangers to take her on with small stakes.

Hi
A small loss for the day but onwards and upwards.
Today's lay is Brinkmanship in the 16:25 at Stratford. This gelding has a penalty to carry today, is in a better race than previous chase victories, is on ground softer than ideal and has at least two rivals capable of beating him. The only plus is the jockey booking. At around 3.0 this beast is well worth taking on.

Hi
Today's tip is to lay Bandanaman in the 16:50 at Beverley. There are enough dangers in this race to warrant opposition to this horse. This gelding is giving weight away to all but one, the form of his debut race has not worked out, Swinbank's course record and his record in this type of race is not good. At around 2.75 this is a good opportunity to make profit for limited risk.

Brilliant tip. I see it didn't even place despite being a short price fave
Good stuff.

Hi Crafty
Many thanks
Today's bet is to lay Mysterious Moon in the 17:00 at Pontefract. I am assuming this well bred colt has either suffered a training setback or is a late developing sort which has prevented him from running before now. I don't often oppose Mr Suroor's horses but this one stands out. He has the "wrong" jockey on board and is running at a course that indicates he is there just "for the run". It would not surprise me if this animal drifts in the market so an early price should be taken. On ground like today's at a stiff track like Pontefract he will have to be pretty fit to take this against some well bred more experienced rivals. It would not surprise me if is a tenderly handled 4th or 5th.

Hi
Nice to get another although having drifted out all day, the price was not great at the end.
Today I have two lays, both at Newmarket.
In the 13:55 lay Bounty Box at anything around the 4.0 mark. This filly was an unconsidered 34.0 shot first time up and ran ok when running on in to 3rd but this is a far tougher affair. With many of the larger stables having well bred runners this looks a good contest. Add to that the trainers record with 2yo's at this course (0-8) and in general, at the price Bounty Box must be taken on.
The next is Henry Cecil's Midday in the 14:30. Again this filly has run well on both her outings. She was a beaten fav last time out but didn't help her chances by hanging right in the closing stages. An extra furlong may help today but this looks like the type of horse that will find a way to get beaten and may not be truly in love with the game. With the quality of opposition, at around the 2.2 mark take this filly on with small stakes.

Nice lay on Bounty Box. Unlucky on the second lay, a short head losing bet is always a tough one to take.
Any fancy on the Ayr gold cup tomorrow? I've been told Valery Borzov each way is a sensible bet but I am definitely no expert on Horse racing. Does this seem like an ok bet?

Hi
An even day with the short head defeat.
Not really had a chance to look. However Valery Borzov has the right trainer, a good draw and goes on the ground so I wouldn't put you off. Another horse to look out for is Fonthill Road. He has a touch of class, is well drawn, fresh, goes well at this time of year and likes the ground

Hi
Tip for today is to lay Eton Rifles in the 16:10 Catterick. There are many reasons to oppose this gelding today. Although he has run well on both starts to date Eton Rifles has shown a lack of pace. The trainer Howard Johnson does not have a good record on this course or during September (as a rule). The jockey rides few winners for this trainer in this type of contest and it is a pretty competitive race with at least three serious rivals. At a price around 3.5 this gelding must be taken on.
A small lay is also recommended for Cat Junior in the 16:55 at Newbury at around 4.5. This colt although taking a drop in class has shown nothing to point to a victory today. There are several other well bred horses in the race with better credentials and it would not surprise me to see Cat Junior's effort peter out in the final furlong.

Hi
Cat Junior saved the day although I thought he would fade a little sooner! Eton Rifles did the business like a good horse. I hold my hands up on that one.
Today's first bet is to lay Option Money in the 14:20 at Uttoxeter. This gelding has to give weight around to all but one, is unproven at the trip and there are at least three rivals capable of beating him today. At 3.6 this is a horse worth opposing today.
My second lay is Chrysander in the 15:50 at Uttoxeter. This gelding has to carry a penalty in a better field than he has been running against of late. Add to that his ability to make jumping errors which are likely to occur over this shorter trip on fastish ground when having to travel that much faster and you have got a cracking opportunity to make money opposing this horse. This gelding will struggle today and a the current odds of 3.2 it warrants a "good" bet. For those who like to cover their stake I feel it likely his odds will drift before the start enabling a small trade.

Hi
Thanks to trading out, Sunday turned out ok
Monday's selection is to lay No to Trident in the 15:50 at Leicester. This geldings 1 from 15 record says a great deal. No to Trident tends to hang when under pressure and does not look the greatest of battlers. His best form is on slower ground and he may find at least two horses quickening past him with a furlong to run. With at least 2 dangers I would look to oppose him at around the 2.76 mark. It is likely the price will drift out further allowing a small trade to be made to cover stakes.
