I hear that Sainsburys have put a bid in for Romford Stadium but also want more land and have bid for properties adjoining to the track but many have been refused. But has Romford accepted?

My friend lived in Harold Hill for 9 years, the area generally is not too bad, Romford can be a little rough and ready at night, parts of Harold Hill, mainly around the pubs can be a little troublesome. Harold Wood is ok, depending on which end you are, if you approach Harold Wood with the hospital on your left then you are in the better part of Harold Wood, after that it starts heading towards Harold Hill and Romford so starts to move a little 'downmarket'. Hornchurch which is very close is a nice(ish) area, i have some good friends who live there and who are very happy there. The big plus for Romford, Harold Wood etc is that you are close to everything, an excellant shopping centre and plenty of entertainment nearby, if you need to know more just mail me. take care and good luck.
